About Me
A little about me:
In May of 2003 I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Anthropology. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. In the fall of 2003 I went back to UT to get a second Bachelors degree this one in Science with a Major in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology. I finished that degree in August 2004. I am now a science teacher at Fulton High School.
Family info:
I got married in 2005, divorced in 2010. Turns out we made better friends than lovers. We have a beautiful daughter, Lisa Dawn, who was born Feb. 22, 2006.
My parents live in Arkansas on Greers Ferry Lake. I have a brother, and nephew.
I have a puppy dog named Keegan. She is half Rottweiler half chocolate Lab. And she is a very big girl so don’t mess with me!
Hobbies and Interests:
Anything outdoors and involving water, I love to fish. I love to read. I enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, boating in general, climbing trees, rock climbing. One of my quirks about hiking and spending time outdoors, when I go on a hike, I tend to watch my feet, and pick up interesting rocks or other cool looking things, (if I can since you aren’t allowed to take those types of things out of national parks and such.)
I love to do crafty things too, like sew or make things, I love a good puzzle. One of my favorite pastimes is crosswords. I am addicted to them.
Interesting Events:
In May of 2003 I went on a cruise with three really cool people, one I hadn’t met before but became a close friend. The cruise was 8 days seven nights, in the eastern Caribbean. It was the most fun I have ever had on vacation. The cruise line was Norwegian and the boat was the S.S. Norway, which had a major accident the day we got back to port. The boiler in one of the engine rooms blew up, and it killed several crew members. But despite the abrupt end to the cruise, it was wonderful and I recommend the cruise line and boat to anyone who is interested in a cruise!!!
