House update

We went and looked at our house on Saturday. Well the parts of it we could see. All in all its just what we want. The only MAJOR problem is the put the dang fireplace in. We do NOT want one. They are not energy efficient, it takes up a ton of room, we never used the one we had in MO, and one day we want to put in French doors where it is now. SO it HAS to go. Anyways here are some pictures. Enjoy.

More Construction

Well we had even more work today! Yippie! More clearing, and gravel for the driveway, and a septic tank. I took some pictures. They aren’t that great I took them on my cell phone. And it was raining. Anyways here they are.

Construction

Despite the rain today, we had some more progress. They have started to level out the house site. I even took some pictures today, but they left at dusk, and it was at that time when you can see, but pictures do not come out. And when I took them on night time, they were blurry. Sorry for no pictures. If the rain holds off, stalls or dissipates, we should have gravel tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. Once they get my house done it can rain for 3 months STRAIGHT just let it wait a wee bit.

Finally Construction Progress

Finally we have some progress on our house. The dozer guy showed up on Tuesday and started grading for our driveway and clearing the land for the house. Hopefully tomorrow and Saturday we can get a little more work done. Our house is complete and will be delivered to the home center in Cleveland, TN on Monday. So at least it is on time. Now if we can get the site improvements rolling we will be good to go!

Well we have our first sign of “progress.” At 7:15 tonight they dropped off a dozer. So now there is a dozer at our house… Its just sitting in the backyard, next to some grass. We are going to climb on it tomorrow and take some pictures. Dan’s dying to get on it. It might be Monday before someone comes out to actually drive the thing…WTH but at least it is some progress.
