A big fat NADA… still nothing, no phone call from the excavating dude. So our land still looks like it did a week ago. And our house should be done in the next 2-3 weeks. So we really need to get this work going so the house won’t be sitting waiting!!!

Well Day two brought about NADA as well. The good news is the house has been ordered (we are having a modular house built, way better insulated and constructed, and the end product is considered a stick built house). So 3-4 weeks and the house in its pieces will be here. Didn’t get any work done on the land today though. I spoke with the GC and he said hes going to call the excavating dude, (the dude’s wife said he could, he told me he didn’t think he could get it done in time) to see if he can do the work, and if he can’t he is going go to his Number 2 excavating dude. So we should get somebody here, or AT LEAST contacting us (hopefully here) by tomorrow. So maybe day three will have more actual work done…

Well yesterday was “Day One” of construction and we got a LOT done. HAHAHAHA NOT!!!!!!!!!! Yeah so NOTHING happened the first day, and we actually found out that the contractor that our General contractor was going to hire to do alot of the driveway, septic tank, foundation, footers stuff is oh 3 weeks behind already, and doesn’t think he can get the work done in three to four weeks that we need. SOOOOO yeah Not a good way to start out construction huh? Bleh, I will be calling the GC today to see what we can do about maybe finding a different excavating dude.
