Preggo Pillow

Being quite pregnant now, sleep has become almost non-existent. On my recent trip to AR last weekend, I had a massage, where for the first time in a long time (many months) I was able to lay on my stomach for over an hour on a preggo pillow. It needed to be slightly deeper in order for me to have felt totally comfortable, but it wasn’t bad, then I had to turn to do the other side, and instead of laying on my back, I was put on my side. I almost fell asleep instantly in the preggo pillow. It provided the support on my back and snuggled me just so.

The massage lady let me borrow the pillow while I was in town, and I honestly had the best sleep I have had since being pregnant. I told Dan about it, and he found one online, wowsers they cost 300 bucks…. so that was a no go. But I figured with some high density foam I could make myself one. So I went to JoAnn’s yesterday and bought me some foam, and spent the day cutting it to the right shape and covering it. And I slept like a baby last night! woo hoo!!!! For one third the cost, I now have a preggo pillow, and am getting sleep!

Foam cuts really easily with a steak knife! took me all day to do, because my preggo brain was having issues figureing out how to put the cover on, the foam cutting was the easy part!

You are soooo clever. Did the sheet work for your cover?

Yes the sheet did work, took me forever to sew it together, but its covered!
