Hobbit | 1/12/2006 Thu January 12, 2006 @ 5:04 pm

Today makes 32 weeks pregnant! I feel like I have a bowling ball on my tummy, so I thought it would be a good time for another picture! Enjoy….

I have been thinking (to myself mostly) that little Lisa might come early. Not sure what early means, maybe early that week, or a week or two early. My mind just keeps thinking early (not tomorrow early or anything scary…). So what is ya’lls opinion…

Do you think she will be early, late, or on her due date?

baby scare

Hobbit | 1/8/2006 Sun January 8, 2006 @ 8:26 pm

Had a bit of a scare this morning. I was changing my shirt after having taken a shower, and I felt really lightheaded, so I thought it would be in my best interest to sit down. Well I didn’t make it to sitting down, I fell the last few feet, I passed out I guess. But I didn’t loose consciousness, I remember hitting the floor, and watching the carpet, as I just laid there and shook. It seemed like it lasted forever, but probably wasn’t more than a minute or two. I was laying there in a semi-dreamlike state, and then suddenly I realized, wait, I just passed out, and shouldn’t be on the floor.

I got up and stumbled to the other side of the house to tell Dan, that I think we needed to go to the hospital, cause I thought I had just had a seizure. It was really scary. Dan told me to call my mom while he went to get clothes on. My mom calmed me down enough, and I called my Dr.. She determined that I probably was dehydrated, and had just passed out, and I didn’t need to go into the hospital for monitoring, just get rest and drink lots of water. The whole thing was so scary. And I can’t imagine that I am dehydrated, I drink water like crazy, but tried real hard today to push more.

Good news

Got my results back from my three hour glucose test. And they are normal, so I passed, no gestational diabetes for me.

Lisa is still an active little one, but slowed down a bit lately, probably due to her “watery environment” shrinking, (or so she thinks, as she is the one growing). I found that if I lean back just right, I can make her little butt stick out, its kinda cute!

Sleep is becoming more and more non-existent. YUCK. Now my body is getting so hot at night, that it makes sleeping unbearable, so I sleep with just a sheet, and the fan on. But there’s a baby in there so its ALL good!

Happy New Year

Well it’s 2006 now. The year my baby will be born! It’s coming so quickly! YAY!!!

Found out on Thursday that I failed my one hour gestational diabetes glucose test. So I have to go on Tuesday for a three hour test. I barely failed the test, they want the numbers between 70 and 140 and I got a 141. But they do want me to do the three hour test. Hopefully it will come back with better results. I will post once I learn more!

Dan’s mom came and visited after Christmas. That was really nice. Found I have a hard time letting other people do things, even when my body is saying hello we are DONE for the day!!! But I am learning, it makes me feel lazy, but I guess it is really getting to the point were its not lazy, it’s what’s healthiest for baby and me.
