We joined the pink team today! Went to the Dr. for the big ultrasound, boy it took an hour, and it was FREEZING in that room! But we learned that our baby is normal for everything they could see, and they didn’t adjust our due date, still set for March 9th. Also learned that Peanut is a girl! She was in the breech (butt down) position today which made some of the pictures and things they needed to measure just a bit difficult, but it was really cute. She had her hands and feet both above her head and in her face. It was really cute to watch her wave her foot in front of her mouth, then you could see her instinctively stick out her tongue to see if that was something yummy that she felt. We watched her drink amniotic fluid, and stick out her tongue, and also try to suck on her toes, and stick her fingers in her eyes. It was truly marvelous. Due to her position though, we have to go back in 5 weeks for another ultrasound so they can measure, and look for the things they couldn’t see today. We got to see all kinds of things, like her bladder, her liver, her kidneys, her heart, and her cute little butt!
