Went to the Dr. today, heard the heart beat again, baby is doing fine. Momma on the other hand has an infection. I have a UTI which is quite common in pregnant women, whats not common at all is the infection is caused by pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is common to get this type of infection if you are catheterized or had surgery or other thing, usually it comes from being in a hospital and contact. Healthy people have like a 0% chance of getting this bacteria, because I am pregnant, that puts me in the slightly not healthy class, guess that’s how I got it. To get rid of the bug, I have to go to the hospital once a day for three days to get antibiotics, Rocephin, injected into none other than my butt… yeah its painful, it burns, and just isn’t pleasant. But as long as it kills the bacteria, I can deal, I don’t want to be sick and I don’t want my baby hurt either!!! So there is the DL for now.
