Went to the Dr. again today, every thing went fine. Peanut’s little heart was a beating away! The doctor reassured me on several questions I had, first time mom worries I guess…

But I was really worried about my weight. According to my books that I have read, typical and healthy weight gain is 3 pounds in the first trimester, and about a pound a week after that. Well I have been so sick that I have actually lost 10 pounds. And I haven’t gained any of it back yet. So this worries me looking at the middle of week 15 thinking ok I should have about 4-5 pounds extra, and I am missing weight. But the Dr. says that as sick as I have been and continue to be now, it is going to take a little time for my body to recover, so if I don’t start feeling better (with the morning sickness) in the next two weeks we might try other options. The weight loss is ok, and the weight gain (or lack there of) is also ok, for now. I just don’t wanna mess my kid up ya know? Although it is the kid doing this to me right now, but….

Peanut has currently settled right above my bladder, which makes for so much fun, random, holy crap I have to pee now, instances. The cool part about where Peanut is at the moment, is that I can feel him or her. There is a visible bump when Peanut hangs out in the right spot (which usually follows with my heading to the bathroom, but…)

Found out a lot of information about what my insurance will cover and what they won’t, and what the fees the Dr. charges and the hospital charges. Luckily my insurance pays for way over 90% of it all, and my out of pocket expense isn’t that great. That’s the way I planned it though, got me some insurance with no deductible. I pay more a month, but I knew I would be using the insurance so it works out for the better in the end!
